Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf bij Bunky Monkey! We hadden twee kamers geboekt: de gezinskamer voor twee volwassenen en twee kinderen en de kamer met bad voor één persoon. Beide kamers waren ontzettend schoon, comfortabel en met heel veel aandacht voor detail ingericht.
Je merkt echt dat er over alles is nagedacht. Zelfs in de badkamers stonden flesjes van Bunky Monkey zelf klaar, zulke kleine details maken een verblijf extra bijzonder. Het zwembad was super schoon en heerlijk om even te ontspannen.
Veronique ontving ons ontzettend hartelijk en zorgde ervoor dat we ons direct welkom voelden. Ook tijdens ons verblijf hield ze via WhatsApp contact om te vragen of alles naar wens was. Toen we aangaven dat er wat rode mieren waren, ging ze meteen voor ons op pad om een middel te halen. Die persoonlijke en attente service hebben we enorm gewaardeerd.
Veronique gaf zelf aan dat ze nog bezig was met het afmaken van enkele details, maar eerlijk gezegd hebben wij daar helemaal niets van gemerkt. Voor ons voelde alles juist verzorgd, schoon en compleet.
Kortom: een ontzettend fijn verblijf, met een prachtige, schone accommodatie en vooral een gastvrouw die echt oog heeft voor haar gasten. Wij hebben ons hier heel welkom gevoeld en zouden absoluut opnieuw hier verblijven. Een echte aanrader!🩷

We really liked everything. All is brand new and the garden in wonderfull, the pool is clean and the rooms are perfect.
Evetything is exactly as shown on the pictures.
Breakfast was unbeatable.

I loved my stay here. The accommodation is beautifully designed in a modern tropical style that blends very naturally into the surrounding jungle. It’s incredibly peaceful, with a lovely garden and a clean pool that’s perfect for relaxing.
The hosts are warm and welcoming, and communication was very easy as they both speak excellent English. Diluksha is also a superb cook – I ended up eating all my meals there during my four-day stay because the food was so good.
There is also a yoga shala with mats, blocks and other equipment that guests can use freely, and organised classes are available too. I attended a yoga and sound bath session which was very well run and a really enjoyable experience.
I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful jungle retreat with great food and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.
