The Graeme Hotel

Very conveniently situated hotel/b&b, part of a pub/hotel. Nicely presented, spacious old building. A stone's throw from Falkirk Grahamston station and into town. Although they were closing the bar early (midweek evening), I would have been able to have a quick beer as a resident. A good place equally to stay for the surrounding area of central Scotland, and also, I would imagine, to relax if there for work I was given a quiet room as requested, as they were not too busy at the time, and very kindly had my request for breakfast time met. Good choice of cooked breakfast, and all the cold pastry/cereal trimmings. Good shower and well equipped room. Tunnocks' teacakes with tea/coffee in room! Staff were lovely, and decent price considering quality and breakfast included (which was not common in the area).

No real downside, although room might have been unfortunate to have had some sneaky smoker guests in recently, but not on this occasion significant enough to worry me. Also, Tassimo machine in room was a bit difficult to work out for making tea, until I found instructions online!

Located in the centre of town within easy walking distance to and from everything you could need, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The cooked breakfast was lovely

Our room was right above the pub on the first floor at the front of the hotel so was very noisy at night, directly outside of our room window was a pedestrian crossing that was being pressed and bleeping constantly 24/7. The shower although it was electric had no power at all, but was hot so that was good 😊

The staff were welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly making me feel right at home. Location perfect as the Hotel is close to the station. The room was lovely and fresh with new bathroom facilities.

No electric jug to boil water for making tea.

The location was good and the room was a good size, nicely decorated with a large bathroom

There was no kettle in the room. A coffee machine was brought in but as a tea drinker this wasn’t ideal. The exterior and communal areas could be improved.
