The Hotel was very nice and although the rooms are above a very full & popular pub, the sound could not be heard upstairs. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.

Some of the fixtures in the rooms were a little dated

The room, although lovely, was noisy throughout the night. Not a criticism but more an observation

The location was good and the room was a good size, nicely decorated with a large bathroom

There was no kettle in the room. A coffee machine was brought in but as a tea drinker this wasn’t ideal. The exterior and communal areas could be improved.
