Discover the magnificent natural scenery on leisurely walks, hikes, or extended bike rides along the well-marked trails—which start right outside the house—and offer numerous places to stop for refreshments.
For a varied day trip, you can easily reach the historic cities of Regensburg and Nuremberg by bus and train.
Just a five-minute drive away, the Monte Kaolino amusement park in Hirschau offers all kinds of activities. The central location is also ideal for hunters exploring the Vilseck-Grafenwöhr hunting grounds.
