Overall, my family’s experience at Waterscape was exceptional. Only hiccup to note was our condo’s second bathroom shower was leaking into condo below which was brought to our attention a week prior to our stay and we were asked not to use it. Otherwise, our condo was clean and well-decorated. We could easily park close to our door from parking garage. Pools, lazy river and hot tubs in resort were amazing. Our children loved it more than the beach. Daily activities were an added bonus. Bridge/road construction onto island was not ideal. Beach was clean and our condo included beach umbrella and two chairs for free.

Pros: The resort amenities were great- A weekly calendar of events is posted near the inside elevators, and we loved being only a short walk from the beach. We also really liked being within walking distance of a couple good restaurants, the miniature golf course and ice cream. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals at the condo. Communication and instructions were very clear and timely. Cons: Couch and loveseat were very dingy/dirty, and there were some moldy/mildew spots in the bathroom. Things to consider: The complex is across the street from a very busy firehouse. It didn't interrupt our sleep, but you do hear it a lot! We brought laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs to supplement the starter supplies and had plenty of everything. Just in case you get in late and are a coffee drinker, there aren't any coffee pouches/filters.
