The location compensated for the lack of quality in the accommodation.

It was convenient to walk into York and we could park without problem. There was enough space for seven of us and two of the rooms were en suite. When we discovered a faulty kettle it was replaced promptly.

There wasn't enough comfortable seating for all of us - and in all honesty, the sofa wasn't very comfortable. There was no welcome pack of tea or coffee. Two of the beds seemed to be sloped - which did not make for a comfortable night.

Great location. Easy for walking into town and the university. The finish is superb in the house. So pleased with every detail.

Excellent house in a great location for walking into town. Well set up for 8 guests.

House was decorated to a very high standard. Every room very fresh. Good amenities. Kitchen was good with double fridges and freezers to cater for 8 adult guests. Showers were great too.

Some doors and bathroom locks were sticky and difficult to operate.
