Location of hotel is great also. Right on beachfront and opposite Casablanca bar which had great entertainment every night

It was clean and the staff friendly.
The pool beside the beach is raised a metre and a half above ground and therefore has no surrounding sun beds. You can’t watch kids swim, it’s therefore unsafe and it’s difficult for older people to get into. The worst pool ever. The second pool is in a compound and very dated. If you’re a pool person, don’t stay here.

We loved the location and stayed in a cottage which was quite roomy and comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower with very hot water and good pressure. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the resort and went outside to nearby restaurants to eat. All the other styles of accomodation beside the cottages we stayed in seemed quite nice as well. There are lounges and some umbrellas on the beach which are very comfortable.
The bed was quite hard and even with an extra doona under the bottom sheet it still felt a little hard for me. The pool near the beach did not have many chairs and access was impossible for me as I need steps to get in and out. However the pool at the back of the resort did have steps and quite a few chairs around the outside. Another negative was the trolleys being taken down to pool every morning from 5:15am which were quite noisy from the cottages we were staying in.

Great location, beautiful beach and pools, comfortable room with balcony, friendly staff, varied breakfast, excellent brand-new gym, and convenient bike rental.
For the price and 4-star positioning, we expected a higher standard. Poor soundproofing, with loud music from nearby bars and noise from the adjoining room, no yoga classes despite being advertised on booking, limited sun loungers with guest leaving towels while unattended, and several unexpected breakfast charges (including tea/hot water and cappuccino). Our credit card was also treated as a debit card, so we had to settle every small bill separately rather than at checkout, like in any other hotel worldwide with the same card.
