Apartment was vacant because the owner was looking for a long term rental so not set-up with dishes and other small things you expect/require in a short time rental. New, bright and comfortable, but with a funky elevator. For the 8th floor, you must push 9, for example. For people staying one night, it might be confusing.
The property and photos shown were NOT accurate, more deceptive than honest. The manager (not owner) does not know the difference between a one bedroom and two bedroom. We reserved two bedrooms, because we need two bedrooms, but upon arrival, we were only "offered" one bedroom and a sofa (not a sofa bed) in the living room. We are elderly and refused to sleep on the sofa, which is not suitable in any case. After arguing for 40 minutes, he found us a two bedroom apt. that worked out fine. If you need two bedrooms, there are other properties in Khuyand for a similar price.
