Hotel Expedition

A place to rest our heads, nothing exceptional.

Adjacent to road and heard road noise during the night. No staff on-site to help if problems.

Renovated vintage hotel that has been done with a very creative, modern style. Very clean and has an excellent location. Park in front of unit.

Nothing

It's a remote operated facility, which in principle I don't super love, but we got a response when needed. Our room smelled strongly like gas (the odor coming from the heating/AC) We reported it, and after a couple of messsages and a 30 minutes wait we were transfered to another room. The rooms are modern looking (kind of dorm/Ikea style) basic but with everything you need. Everything looks new and clean. The beds were very comfy. Thre were ear plugs on the bedside tables, so we thought it could be noise at nights due to the proximity to the road, but we didn't use them and didn't find the room noisy at all. We also loved the jacuzzi after a day hiking.

The sauna didn't seem to work. Not super important but we had our hopes high. With the gas odor/problem we were initially told that "it was not possible that it was really gas: and were advised to open the door/window to ventilate the room. That did not solve the problem, and I think that room was not safe, but as stated before we were granted access to another one within thirty minutes.

Room 113. No mirror, no counter, no sink in bathroom.

A competed bathroom, very off having to use kitchen area to brush teeth, lightening in kitchen not very good for makeup.
