If I could give it 12 stars, I would. Extremely nice and clean apartment with all new high end appliances, quality furniture and tasteful decor. Very well appointed with everything that you could need while staying at a home away from home, which is what this apartment felt like.
Very welcoming and to top it all off, the view! Everything ftom beautiful sunsets to big icebergs floating by to whales in the bay right by the apartment and Northern Lights dancing above at night. Sunrises with the first light on the icebergs is also magical.
The whole experience was just awesome and a lot of that had to do with the hosts as well. So nice and helpful in every way.
As for the location, it is a 15 min walk to the center of town and stores, which is recommended for the nice view of the harbor. There is also a bus that runs every 30 min with a stop less than 100 yards away.
If you are doing any boat excursions, several of the tour companies leave from the north side of the harbor, which is close to the apartment.
Not a single thing, which is unusual for me if you have seen my other honest reviews. The hosts really thought of everything. They even provided binoculars to watch the whales and many boats going in and out of the harbor.
