We had a wonderful 8-night stay in August and truly enjoyed the authentic Normandy experience.
The location is superb — peaceful, beautiful, and very safe. It was also perfectly positioned as a base for exploring Normandy. During our stay, we easily visited Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur, Caen, Étretat and Rouen, and the house is only around 2 hours from Paris by car.
Check-in was very smooth, and having convenient private car parking made everything even easier.
The house was exceptionally clean, spacious, beautifully furnished, and very well equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, and all bedrooms are air-conditioned, which was especially appreciated during our August stay. The bathrooms were spacious, clean and very well equipped, with excellent amenities.
The garden is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed having a BBQ in the garden, which was one of the nicest moments of our stay. Our children, aged 4, 10 and 12, also loved the house, especially the toys and trampoline.
Communication with the host was brilliant throughout our stay — responsive, helpful and very easy to deal with.
Overall, this house gave us a true Normandy-style experience while still offering all the comfort and amenities we needed. Considering the space, location, facilities and overall quality, it was excellent value for money and truly worth what we paid.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for families wanting a comfortable base to explore Normandy.
