This place is a true gemstone for travelers on a budget.

The rooms are spacious - and there is sunlight in every room. The host is very helpful, provided help with parking and even provided washing powder for free. The location is very near to public transport and shopping and restaurants.

The nearby church bell was not quiet - but since Bornheim is a catholic city, it was romantic at the same time.

Extrem schlecht

Die Waschmaschine.

Leider haben die Gastgeber vergessen, dass sie Gäste empfangen. Es habe keine Handtücher, kein Toilettenpapier und die Wohnung war extrem verdreckt. Der gesamte Boden hat geklebt. Im Badezimmer lagen benutze Lumpen und Toilettenschwämme herum. Die Dusche war auch dreckig. Das Badezimmer hat dementsprechend gerochen. Die Toilette war auch unsauber. Die Küche konnten wir leider nicht benutzen, weil auf dem Tisch alte Farblumpen und Handtücher herumlagen. Der Kühlschrank war von innen komplett verschimmelt, sodass der Raum nicht mehr begehbar war. Der Schimmelgeruch hat sich durch die ganze Wohnung gezogen. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war über einen Hinterhof möglich, der ebenfalls komplett mit Sperrmüll und Getränkekisten zugestellt war. Schlafen war in den nicht frisch bezogenen Betten nur schwer möglich, weil aus der darunterliegenden Kneipe extrem laute Musik gespielt wurde. Alles in allem ein furchtbarer Aufenthalt. Eine weitere Nacht hätte ich in diesem Gestank nicht ertragen können. Den Schimmelgeruch empfinde ich als gesundheitsgefährdend.

Déçue

Un bel espace de vie et belle luminosité. Les volets roulant partout.

Cuisine inexistante juste une plaque, un four et frigidaire, 4 assiettes, 4 fourchettes, 4 couteaux, verres, 1 poêle et 1 casserole. Le lave vaisselle ne fonctionne pas. Pas de bol pour le petit déjeuner ni petites cueilleres. Pas de chauffage. Une table bistrot posée pour 3 personnes ... L'appartement se situe a côté d'une église qui sonne tous les 30 minutes et vue donnant sur le chemin de fer / gare avec passage fréquent. De plus il est situé au dessus d'un bar qui est sensé fermer a 22h30 mais a 1h00 au matin musique, rires et discutions... La personne qui nous a reçu ne parler ni le français, ni l' anglais, il a du téléphoner a une personne pour m'indiquer où garer ma voiture.
