Basic clean hotel with spacious room. The manager was very kind and accommodating. Location is good but not close to the biggest street of restaurants and shops. However, it’s only a short tuktuk drive there.
The most disturbing thing was that the hotel is right next to the train tracks and every morning between 5-6am trains pass by and wake you up. This is however something the hotel can’t affect.
We also had a lot of flies in our room but the staff took care of it after I let them know.

This is by far our favourite hotel on our whole trip to Sri Lanka, it’s a 2 minute walk to the beach across some beautiful train tracks amazing for pictures and located down a small quiet road away from the traffic, we were welcomed with a traditional candle lighting ceremony and a refreshing handmade drink. The hotel room itself was amazing it had a balcony where you could watch the monkeys just 5 foot away and a shower with huge windows overlooking jungle and palm trees. At the end of our stay the owner kindly offered to watch our bags for the day while we went to the beach and then gifted us a magnet souvenir as well. Could not recommend this hotel enough, absolutely incredible, thankyou for having us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
