Disappointing, unclean, broken apartment with no upkeep and stole our deposit.

The few positives were overshadowed by all the negatives

STAY AWAY, NO CLEANING, NO PARKING, NO POOL TABLE, NO DEPOSIT BACK. NO Parking! They advertise free parking but parking is on street parking and paid for, that is if you're lucky to find a space as this is not guaranteed. They stole our £200 deposit for something that was already broken on our arrival. The Bath overflow cover that also acts as a twist handle to lift and close the drain was broken when we got there, it was slotted in its place but fell as soon as it was touched. The drain plug had been left removed and on the side which made it obvious that it did not work as intended prior to our stay yet they still claimed we broke it and refuse to comprehend our messages explaining the situation. Kept saying their cleaner never told them it was broken before our stay, but if that was the case then why was the drain plug on the side and not just lifted by the mechanism as its supposed to.. The pool table being a big selling point was a disappointment. It is all broken and wobbly making it barely useable. Half the screws are missing and the other half loose, with both feet broken. Same goes for the benches and coffee tables, wobbly with loose screws. The apartment is disgusting! The floors turned our white socks black within an hr of being there. Every single wall and door in the apartment is dirty with marks from dirty hands etc, and 1 even has a foot/toe print. Soft furnishings all have stains. Counters have dry residue on them. Food bowls had to be rewashed prior to us using them as these were put away dirty. The "cleaner" seems to just replace the bedding (at least I hope so). No actual cleaning happens in my opinion. I never contacted the host during our stay as we checked in late and left early as we just needed a bed to sleep.
