This was the most incredible stay! We spent 4 days here on honeymoon and I would return in a heartbeat. The accommodation is incredibly luxe (and very reasonably priced) and the amenities are excellent, including high end shower products from Grown Alchemist.
The property itself has clearly been lovingly restored with incredible attention to detail, the grounds are beautiful, we ate breakfast of fresh French bread with fig jam from their own trees and drank coffee from l’Optimist specialty coffee roasters in La Rochelle, we drank delicious wine and ate wood fired pizza in the courtyard(while a live band played before an outdoor movie screening!)… just dreamy! The staff are so welcome and friendly, it’s a short walk to the promenade (and a longer walk to town but there is a bus and we didn’t mind the walk, often doing it twice a day so it is manageable but maybe a consideration for older guests). This was a gem of a property, a must visit!

Tolle Erfahrung. Perfekt renoviert. Wirklich einmalige Location.
Starker chemischer Geruch im Zimmer; vermutlich Holzschutzmittel. Haben permanent gelüftet.
Bezahlen für einen Parkplatz der ggf. Nicht freigehalten wird, sondern von Tagesgästen kostenlos (!) genutzt wird…
