The host was very kind and helpful. He gave us great recommendations on how to explore the old town and helped us deal with a tyre issue with our rental car. He also guided us to the upper part of the town, which made our visit to Montepulciano very smooth and convenient. We really appreciated his hospitality.

Incredible chic and spotless apartment on the third floor of a hill in the Montepulciano suburbs, with great views both of sunrise and sunset on the surrounding Tuscan valleys. Cute balcony that is tailor made to sit back after a day of exploring Montepulciano’s medieval center on foot, and watch the sunset. Wake up the next day to watch the sunrise wash over the same trees, farms and valleys. We wish we had more than 1 day to enjoy this hidden gem.
Absolutely no complaints, an amazing stay. The balcony’s views will be stuck in our minds till we visit again.

The room was a relief. Spacious, clean, recently renovated, with a balcony that opened onto a long view over the hills. We didn't pay much and weren't expecting much, so the room more than held its end up. The check-in, though, is the part that stayed with us.
We checked in with the owner's son, a kid of about fifteen, who seemed nervous. he mixed up the codes for both the main entrance and our room, and the whole thing was more uncomfortable than a start to a holiday should be. The lobby had a faintly sour smell that didn't help.
