The location was great, as it was near a metro station and in a quiet neighborhood. The gym was the best I've ever seen in a hotel.

Rauza is a good hotel ruined by poor staff. I have stayed at many hotels, and have never experienced quality of service like this. When I checked in, I was given a key card and told my room number. About an hour after I moved all my belongings into my room, I was told that I had to immediately move to another room. It turns out that I was given the wrong room number, and I had a key that could open all the rooms. The staff didn't apologize once, offered zero help, and spoke to me in a demeaning tone like I was the one who made the mistake. Mind you, I booked the hotel for 5 days so I already took everything out of all my bags. Because I had to to pack and relocate everything, I missed a tour I had booked. I understand that situations like this happen, but the staff couldn't even offer an apology. Also, they didn't even take away my master key. The only reason I didn't have it for my whole stay was because a cleaner saw me entering two rooms while moving my things and told them to take it from me. Another time, I had a friend help me bring bags to my room. You think that this couldn't possibly be a problem, but I guess the staff thought he was trying to stay the night (it was the middle of the day). Just five minutes after my friend entered my room, the staff tracked down my room number, knocking to demand that he immediately go to the lobby. Turns out that all guests must show a passport to stay a maximum of 30 minutes (and aren't allowed at all after 9 pm). This is a ridiculous rule that I was never told about, and makes absolutely no sense for a property catering to business clients. Every time I walked through the lobby I felt that the staff were constantly checking to make sure no one else was coming with me. I never thought I would feel policed by the front desk of a hotel, but here we are.
