Check-in was efficient. The rooms are quaint, very throwback. Location is outstanding. Amenities are adequate, outstanding location in Ruidoso.
Somewhat dated, electrical outlets are missing in the bathroom. Just one, and it's adjacent to the on/off switch.

Arrowhead Motel & RV Resort is a hidden gem. We had a cross country road trip to and from Chicago from Arizona, and Arrowhead was the best place we stayed. It was cute, comfortable, and we really enjoyed talking to the owner. You can tell they put a lot into making it feel like a comfortable home away from home in the mountains. Our room felt like a cozy get away. We plan on making it our regular stop on road trips through New Mexico.
There was nothing to dislike. It was incredible, and we especially enjoyed the cute chairs outside and the decor.

I have seen this motel before and always wondered what it was like. It was very nice, comfortable beds, quiet, and the manager was friendly.
The lighting is a bit bright in the front window.
