We absolutely loved our stay at Mystras Panorama House and were genuinely sad that we had only booked one night.
The house itself is spotless, comfortable and stylish, in a wonderfully quiet location with a beautiful panoramic view over the olive groves, valley and surrounding hills. We cooked dinner in the kitchen and ate outside on the porch with the wine and olive oil Vássilis had left for us — the olive oil coming from his own groves — which was a lovely way to spend the evening.
What really made our stay special, though, was Vássilis' hospitality. Before we arrived, he called to ask when we planned to visit Mystras and offered to meet us at the lower entrance and drive us to the upper entrance, so that we could leave our car below and walk through the archaeological site downhill. Such a simple thing, but it made our visit to Mystras so much easier and more enjoyable.
He was incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay, always looking for ways to make things easier for us without being intrusive. When our rental car briefly warned us about a low tyre, his immediate response was to offer to take us to Mystras himself and sort out the car while we visited the site! Thankfully it turned out to be a false alarm, but the offer says a lot about the kind of host he is. He also gave us some excellent recommendations, not only for the area around Mystras but even for the next part of our trip.
We only stayed for one night and really wished we had stayed longer. A beautiful place in its own right, made even better by genuinely outstanding hospitality. We would happily come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The cottage is exceptionally beautiful, located in a stunning and peaceful setting, and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by a bottle of delicious wine and some excellent local olive oil, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Our host also went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. He kindly offered to drive us to the starting point of our hike and brought us all the way to the castle of Mystras. He offered this completely voluntarily and without any pressure whatsoever. He was always helpful and friendly, while at the same time being very respectful of our privacy and personal space.
The same was true when it came to recommendations for restaurants, things to see, and driving routes. His advice was always helpful and offered in a very natural and non-intrusive way.
We truly felt at home and could not have wished for a better experience. A beautiful place, an exceptional host, and a stay we would wholeheartedly recommend!

A beautiful, atmospheric house on a hill with a magnificent view—simply a fairytale setting. A great location if you are exploring the Peloponnese. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.

Το κατάλυμα είναι εξαιρετικό. Θέα στον Λακωνικό κάμπο, φαίνεται και η καστροπολιτεία του Μυστρά. Το χωριό του Μυστρά είναι πολυ γραφικό και όμορφο. Ο ιδιοκτήτης πολύ εξυπηρετικός, απαντάει πάντα στο τηλέφωνο. Το κατάλυμα εξοπλισμένο - μέχρι και τζακούζι έχει.
Εμένα μου φάνηκε ακόμα καλύτερο από τις φωτογραφίες.
Η διαδρομή για να το προσεγγίσεις περνάει από την μικρή πλατεία του Μυστρά.
Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα για ζευγάρια ή οικογένειες (εμείς πήγαμε οικογενειακώς).
