The villa is located a short distance from the village of Gennadi, where you can find several restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, a pastry shop and a vegetable shop. The access road from the main road is quite rocky, so you need to be careful of deep ruts and larger stones. Some bushes growing in the middle of the road may also scratch the underside of your car.
The complex of villas is situated on a hillside, offering beautiful views of the sea and the entire coastline towards Lindos. It is a very peaceful location. We often saw deer near our villa. The garden is full of flowers, lizards and agamas, which gives the place a very pleasant and natural atmosphere. The swimming pool is excellent, with a depth ranging from 1.1 to 1.8 metres. It is large enough to actually swim a few laps and is a great way to cool off. The pool is cleaned once a week, but when it is windy, you need to remove leaves and debris with the net every day. There are four sun loungers, a parasol and large towels available. The garden also has parking space, a barbecue, a clothes-drying rack, and a table with chairs. The view is beautiful and the overall atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. The house has two floors. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a toilet, a very small shower, and a living room with a TV and a sofa. There is also a dining table with chairs, an armchair and some smaller pieces of furniture. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for basic cooking, with a microwave, hob, electric oven and refrigerator. Of course, you need to buy your own food and cooking ingredients. Guests are also responsible for disposing of their own rubbish, ideally taking it to the containers by the roadside. Upstairs there are two rather small bedrooms, one of which has almost no furniture. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, as well as a large terrace. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning throughout the house worked very well.
We chose this villa partly because the photos showed that table tennis was available. We did indeed find a drawer full of table-tennis bats and balls in the house, but unfortunately there was no table. This was a major disappointment for us, especially for the children. If table tennis is listed as one of the facilities, the information should definitely be corrected or it should be clearly stated that the table itself is not available. We also had a problem with the alarm during our stay. It went off repeatedly and was very annoying. A maintenance worker tried to solve the problem, but even removing the sensor did not resolve the issue. I would therefore recommend having this problem checked and fixed. Overall, the villa is particularly suitable for people looking for peace and quiet, privacy, beautiful views and a private swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay, but some things – especially the missing table-tennis table and the alarm problem – were an unnecessary disappointment.

Our stay at Villa Phoebe in Gennadi was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking sea views and the peaceful, secluded location. It truly felt like our own little slice of paradise.
The villa itself was spotless, beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The private pool was immaculately clean and the perfect place to unwind while taking in the stunning surroundings.
We walked into a lovely bottle of Greek wine and a concise recommendations list - very helpful to enhance our stay.
One of the things we loved most was the location. Although wonderfully private and tranquil, the charming village of Gennadi was only a few minutes away, offering fantastic traditional tavernas, lovely restaurants and relaxed bars. Gennadi Beach is an absolute gem - peaceful, unspoilt and with some of the clearest water we’ve ever seen.
If you’re looking for a villa that combines luxury, privacy, incredible views and easy access to an authentic Greek village, Villa Phoebe is the perfect choice. We left with amazing memories and are already dreaming of coming back. Without a doubt, one of the best villa holidays we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
