Beautiful woodland and parkland setting, house was comfortable and living area very spacious and clean but….
Very impersonal and soul less, reception staff pleasant and helpful but no one showed us how the house functioned and no information in house either. We were unable to work the electric fire despite trying our best with the remote control - why not a simple on/off switch.? Likewise the hot water stopped and we had to turn on the heating boiler. Weather was wet and windy and very large living room was dreary as a result Absolutely nil provided by way of welcome pack - no tea, sugar, dishwasher tabs. No j-cloth to clean up, no washing up brush or scourer or detergent. No coffee or indeed no coffee maker, not even a cafetière. These issues are important, if, like us, you come from abroad. No place to put clothes or lay out suitcases in bedrooms with no chairs provided and just an empty hanging wardrobe with no drawers, apart from bedside lockers. Likewise no flat surface in bathroom. Or hooks on doors. There was plenty of space for more.
Restaurant /bar was very impersonal and zero atmosphere, food was burgers, pasta and pizza, obviously aimed at families, The pool and changing rooms were good. Very expensive as no reduction for only two people in a three bedroom house but maybe that was our mistake.

Relaxing with good activities. Good size accommodation and lovely surroundings. Lovely hot tub.
Accommodation is starting to look a bit tired (cracked tiles, flooring lifting etc)

There wasn’t much we didn’t like, as we really enjoyed our stay. The swimming pool could have been a little warmer, and the 45-minute swimming sessions felt a bit short — an hour would have been better. It would also be nice to have an additional jacuzzi, as it can be difficult to use when other guests stay in it for a long time.
