Clean, prompt with requests, decent sized rooms for NYC, good location in Brooklyn. The staff isn't super friendly, but not rude. Overall solid experience.
I didn't like that they had a bullet proof glass in the entrance. This hotel is not Black owned but is in a Black neighborhood. The neighborhood is generally safe and other businesses do not have this kind of protection. It felt slightly degrading and disrespectful to the neighborhood and to Black guests.

If you dont mind the neighbourhood the location isnt bad. Lots of shops nearby and the metro is close by. The front desk staff were nice.
When I checked in I found out the breakfast is “to-go”. First time I’ve experienced that where they like pack a bag with readymade breakfast sandwiches and youre supposed to collect it from the lobby. I got to my room and the shower was dirty with hair stuck jn the drains. I switched rooms and was bombarded by ants the rest of the trip despite having the room cleaned daily.
