The room was clean and functional, but dated. It's a cheap hotel in a town with tourist attractions like hot springs, so it does have that going for it.
This is a very dated hotel. It needs upgrades and improvements. The hallway carpets were dirty and need replacing, the doors all needed keys and there was only a single key even for a shared room. The bathroom was very old, for example, the shower head kept shifting while you were taking a shower. The rooms are not cleaned daily, only every 3 days, which wasn't a problem for us but might be for others.
