About this cabin rental
Welcome to Suzie Jean; a quaint, cozy cabin on 2 acres with a pond, situated on Petit Jean Mountain, just MINUTES from Petit Jean State Park. Family-owned and hosted by a mother-daughter design duo! Momma is a small-town interior designer, daughter is a big-city artist. Welcome to our "granny chic" cabin in the central Arkansas woods!
Sip coffee from the Adirondack chairs on the back porch while watching the sunrise over the pond, or listen for the neighbor’s wandering peacocks. In the evenings, cook a great meal in the fully stocked kitchen or play games in the barn. It’s peaceful, personal, and a little bit magical — the perfect Arkansas hideaway.
Inside, you’ll find a warm, art-filled space designed for comfort. The cabin sleeps up to six guests: one bedroom with a queen bed, built-in bunk bed, and private bathroom; and a second bedroom with a queen bed, French-door access to the back porch, and a private bathroom. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, complete with quality cookware.
Step onto the porch for sunrise views of the pond, or take a short walk to our Game Barn — a guest favorite featuring corn hole, golf-pitching game, mini pickleball, and giant Jenga. The two-acre property is surrounded by woods and quiet, with only the sounds of birds and frogs to keep you company.
Guests have full access to the cabin, the Game Barn, and shared use of the private pond (shared by homes with pond-front property). The property sits on a gravel road with minimal traffic and maximum peace. There’s plenty of room to park, unwind, and explore.
You’ll have the entire space to yourself — no shared areas. You’ll likely just hear the wind through the trees (and maybe a peacock or two).
The cabin is fully equipped for your getaway — just bring your groceries and sense of adventure. WiFi is reliable, but cell service can be spotty, so plan to unplug a little. The gravel driveway is easy for any vehicle to navigate, but take it slow if you arrive after dark.
Petit Jean State Park, with its trails, waterfalls, and overlooks, is just a couple minutes away. You can fish for perch or bass in the pond, relax by the water, or play a round of corn hole as the sun goes down.

This VRBO on Petit Jean Mountain was fantastic! The cabin was spotless, beautifully remodeled, and everything was in perfect condition. The location is amazing — perched on top of the mountain in a peaceful, wooded setting with a lovely pond right there. We loved the fire pit, the big front porch, the carport, and how close it is to the park — just five minutes away. We never even left the mountain during our four-day stay. The price was very reasonable, and I’d happily recommend it to friends.

We came to town for a family wedding at Petit Jean, but we fit in some fun hikes, some fishing at the property pond, and we were all entertained by the peacocks that live across the street :) Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin and surrounding property are excellent. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the sunset out by the pond. The cabin is in very close proximity to Petit Jean and made our commute to trailheads a breeze.

The property was accurately depicted in the description and pictures. Hannah was also very responsive and accommodating with all questions and requests we had prior to our arrival. Highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a getaway at Petit Jean!
