We spent eight wonderful nights in this beautiful 200-year-old Swiss farmhouse, and it became one of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland.
We had an entire floor to ourselves. Everything was very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, while the house has preserved its unique character and history — you can really feel its special atmosphere.
From the first moment, we felt incredibly welcome. When we arrived, we found food waiting for us for our first breakfasts: cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, including delicious home-grown tomatoes and grapes from the farm. It was such a lovely and personal touch.
Our children absolutely loved it here. There was a swimming pool, playgrounds, swings, toys and plenty of space to play. They felt so at home that by the end of our stay they said they now had a “Swiss grandma” — which probably says everything about the warmth and kindness of our hosts.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions, help us with anything we needed and recommend places to visit.
The village itself is beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully authentic. There is no traffic noise. Instead, you hear cow and sheep bells and the quiet chimes of the local church clock. The views, the silence and the atmosphere made coming home every evening a pleasure.
The location was also a great base for exploring Switzerland by car. We visited Bern, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Lucerne, Geneva, Lake Geneva and Zurich, and drove through the spectacular Grimsel and Furka mountain passes.
We are very happy that we chose this place for our Swiss holiday. Thank you so much for your warmth, generosity and hospitality. We would love to come back and recommend this wonderful place without hesitation! ❤️

Es war einer der schönsten und wunderbarsten Urlaube überhaupt.
Ein Haus voller Wärme und Herzlichkeit.
Eine liebevolle, hilfsbereite und außergewöhnliche Familie in jeder Hinsicht.
Die ländliche Umgebung ist wunderschön und liegt in der Nähe aller wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Ein Parkplatz steht direkt unter dem Haus zur Verfügung.
Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass im Holzhaus wirklich alles vorhanden ist – man muss nur Lebensmittel mitbringen und kann bequem dort kochen.
Vielen herzlichen Dank für alles, was Sie für uns getan haben, und für die Herzlichkeit Ihrer Familie uns gegenüber.

I really loved this stay. This was a perfect location if you wanted to travel nearby to Bern, Lucerne, Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. Talking more about the stay, I really loved the hospitality and also the treats which were provided to us. I would highly recommend this for stay.
It is good to know that the room heights are limited for people with heights below 1.75 m.

Es war sehr schön, dass man vom Gastgeber empfangen und die Umgebung und das Haus/Wohnung gezeigt wurde.
Es hatte sogar im Kühlschrank bereits ein paar Leckereien zum Frühstück.
Schön war das Planschen im Pool - das brachte etwas Abkühlung.
Wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass die Wohnung im 1. Stockwerk einen seitlichen, bedeckten Balkon ohne Poolblick hat, die Bodenbeläge mehrheitlich Keramik- und Novilon/PVC-Beläge sind und die Raumhöhen (Steh-, bzw. Durchgangshöhen) für Menschen über 1.75m eingeschränkt sind.
