Hôtel Séquoias

A beautiful hotel set in nice grounds. Friendly staff and nice restaurant. We had a room in the main hotel with balcony and nice views. The hotel is tastefully decorated. There’s a swimming pool & change area with showers next to it and poolside bar. It has nice grounds with plenty of free parking. Rooms with air-con, minibar, kettle, coffee machine. Spacious bathroom with hairdryer. Meal in the restaurant was nice, but a little pricy. Breakfast was good but not a lot of choice compared with other hotels we’ve stayed in. We would stay again. The below criticisms are probably due to oversights, they just need to make better checks.

Cleanliness although fine in bedroom the bathroom had thick dust and some noticeable cobwebs on paneling around bathroom window. Used ashtray on balcony has not been emptied. Mini bar missing an item, natural water. Not that we were going to purchase it but again it’s the finer details. Plus they could have tried to charge us for it. No milk for coffee, so didn’t have one. Also complimentary water in room would have been nice as the weather was very hot.

Le calme la piscine avec le parc la possibilité de garer sa voiture sans souci le repas et le petit déjeuner était correcte.

Pas de paroi de douche avec les wc dans la salle de bains le mini bar éteint sans bouteille d'eau les prises n'était pas branchées et la télévision ne fonctionnait pas bien.

L’arredamento di entrambi gli stabili è estremamente bello: grande cura e gusto nella scelta dei mobili, dei colori. Molto raffinato al livello di alberghi molto più stellati. Il signore alla reception davvero gentile , disponibile e sorridente. Il contesto è davvero bello: il parco, la piscina. Inoltre è davvero comodo perché vicino all’autostrada, ciò nonostante la camera è silenziosa, il materasso comodo e il sonno è stato rigenerante.

Ci siamo accorte solo la mattina che nessuna delle prese elettriche funzionava. Non è stato possibile ricaricare i telefoni, refrigerare gli alimenti in frigo e utilizzare l’aria condizionata se non una mezzoretta prima del check out quando il problema è stato risolto. La colazione ci è apparsa poco ricca: alle 9.10 era già quasi tutto finito. Pochi pezzi dolci, pochi affettati, una sola tipologia di marmellata. Onestamente mi aspettavo di più… abbiamo notato che sotto il letto matrimoniale c’era molta polvere. Strano perché il resto della camera era molto pulito. Poco comprensibile la scelta di mettere la porta di una doccia al posto della porta del bagno: pericolosa e per niente isolante. Infine non abbiamo potuto usare la piscina , non perché fosse interdetta ma perché stavano allestendo un evento e non era molto accogliente la situazione.

It’s picturesque and the decor in the main locations is great. The food was good.

Room was poorly laid out, couldn’t open door to toilet properly because the bath was in the way. Also there was mould in the bath and room very hot.
