I could say that I liked everything here but that would be easy-ride. IntoTheGreen deserve much more effort when writing opinion. First of all it is a genuine, historic urban house, a strongest landmark of Maltese architecture. Every tourist can bring back home fridge magnet with Maltese oriel window while only few can have morning coffee there (if they are too lazy to go on the roof and drink it in swinging hamock shadowed by giant church growing up at the distance of grasshopper spring). House have everything you need during your stay - in good shape, clean, new (sometimes too new) and carefully selected to fit together. You can feel everywhere personal attention of the owners - this is not an anonymous "holiday rental". This is a True Home. Neighbourhood. Xewkija is not a Valetta. It is not even Victoria. It has something from Cinema Paradiso village if You know what I mean. Calm, slow and bit lazy. Everythere yellowish lime stone, sharp contrasts: sun and shadows. Heat. Passing car from time to time, voices echoing in narrow streets and bells. Somebody may say that ringing bells every 15 min might be a little exaggeration, but I loved it. Specially having opportunity to ring it personally with ringers team at the bell tower. Fine local places to dine in main square (at least if you are carnivore). And whole Gozo locations in the range of 15 mins (by car). So, what are you waiting for?
Hmmm..... hmmm...... Heat in August. Left hand traffic. An these bloody tourists.

Appartamento accogliente, curato nei minimi dettagli. Host attenti e precisi. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Le cose da fare a Gozo erano tante, ma saremmo voluti restare in casa per goderci ogni angolino. Soprattutto il terrazzo.
