Traveling with a large group doesn't have to mean sacrificing privacy. Our 3,900-square-foot Wintergreen home has six true bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, plus three separate living areas and two large decks overlooking the mountains.
With three king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and a twin room, the home is especially well suited for several couples, extended families, and multi-generational trips.
Three separate living areas give everyone room to spread out—perfect for movie nights, games, conversation, or simply enjoying some quiet time. The downstairs living room has doors that close, a queen sleeper sofa, and convenient access to a full hall bath if your group needs additional sleeping space.
Step outside onto either of the two large decks and enjoy beautiful mountain views, whether you're having morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or simply taking in the fresh mountain air.
Set on a quiet cul-de-sac on a peaceful side of the mountain, the home feels wonderfully tucked away. We rarely see neighbors, and it’s not unusual to spot deer in the backyard or along the street. You can also walk from the house to both easy and more challenging hiking trails, making it simple to enjoy the mountain right from your doorstep.
The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking for a group easy, with plenty of space to prepare meals and gather together around the table.
**Dogs:** One dog is welcome with prior approval. Please tell us about your dog before booking. Dogs only; no cats or other animals.
Located just one mile from Wintergreen Resort—and approximately 1/2 mile from the nearest blue slopes—you'll have quick access to skiing, hiking, golf, scenic drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries, breweries, and the many outdoor activities the area is known for.

Excellent home, excellent hosts. This home was very clean, convenient to activities, comfortable, and spacious for our group of 7 adults and 3 kids for a long ski weekend. Nicely furnished, thoughtfully equipped and well stocked. Great communication by hosts. Highly recommend and we intend to stay there again.

For one weekend this was our cosy chalet nestled in the mountains. It really was nothing short of magical! From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home — the space was sparkling clean, and very thoughtfully designed for family togetherness time, comfort and also quiet time when we needed it. The views from every room are breathtaking, just wait for sunrise on your first morning! ... The chalet had everything we needed, to make family meals thanks to our thoughtful host for going above and beyond with the amenities. Every detail was considered - fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and again the views were breathtaking. We really appreciated the kids room filled with books and the doll house was a hit with the kids too! making our time here effortless, super comfortable and memorable. Also great communication with the host from booking till now!! Stress-free from start to finish. I recommend creating a physical welcome book with all the necessary details at the front and some empty pages for guests to leave you a lovely note!A truly glorious stay for skiers and hikers at Wintergreen. We can’t wait to come back! I'd highly recommend this home for families, or anyone looking for a special getaway in a cosy chalet with friends!
