Just a few steps from Lake Zühlensee, in a residential neighborhood, the owners’ single-family home—located on their approximately 1,200-square-meter, fully fenced residential lot—features a vacation apartment for two people. (The property borders the playground of a school.) The Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance bike trail runs right past the neighborhood; the town center of Wesenberg, with shopping and restaurants, is about 1,000 meters away, and the popular, beautiful beach at “Weisser See”; about 2 km away. The approximately 60-square-meter, non-smoking apartment—renovated in 2021—features a separate entrance and underfloor heating. It includes a living room (sofa set, flat-screen TV), a separate, large kitchen (electric stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, dining table, radio, and various small kitchen appliances), a bedroom (double bed), a bathroom (shower, toilet, hair dryer), and a hallway. Additionally, a large, sunny, and furnished terrace, a grill, parking, bicycle storage, free Wi-Fi, and—upon request—a high chair and a travel crib are available. The total price includes final cleaning, electricity, water, bed linens, and towels.
Wesenberg is a renowned resort town located directly on Lake Woblitz, part of the popular Upper Havel Waterway, in the heart of the Mecklenburg Small Lakes Region nature conservation area. The town is characterized by countless lakes connected by small canals; it is a popular vacation destination for all water sports enthusiasts. As the southeastern gateway to the Müritz National Park, the region is also an ideal starting point for extended tours by bike or on foot. The town’s landmark is the castle, built in the 13th century, featuring the so-called Fangelturm, which today houses the tourist information office. Right in Wesenberg, you’ll find shopping, restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, boat tours, and canoe, boat, and bike rental stations. The well-known royal seat of Neustrelitz and the small town of Mirow, with its castle complex, are each about 10 km away.
