The facility and services were way below standard expectations!
It’s nothing special. Maybe the fact that it’s a gated property.
Where do I even start?
First of all, it’s surprising that bookings even allow a property like this. This looks like a rented apartment/unit in an apartment-style property that is being used for rental by the original tenant. The first instruction I got after booking this place was to not engage with any staff seen on the property. That is a huge red flag!!!
Secondly, no check-in details were provided until I arrived much later than the actual allowable check-in time. Then I had to call and was given an unclear direction to the unit.
Thirdly, parking was a whole different drama. I couldn’t park just anywhere on the property, it had to be spaces not designated as “reserved” (which were extremely limited), and then it had to be near the fence. Despite registering my car prior to arrival as instructed, it was absolutely useless and didn’t make parking easy. I still had to watch out for other residents to move their cars so that I can park in their space.
Furthermore, the property is NOT safe. I saw some young boys waiving what appears to be a gun on the night that I arrived. When I mentioned it to the customer service agent, he said it’s safe.
Lastly, the unit was not well-prepared for the guest. Human hair was hanging all over the shower wall, toilet seat was broken, dinning set chairs were unstable, kitchen tap faucet was loose.
This unit should never be called a hidden gem, it is a hidden DISASTER!
