Very nice place and a very welcoming check in with Daniel(the nicest we had so far in Italy). We also got a lot of helpful information for the place and the surroundings.
The apartment is huge, modern and very clean. AC worked well.
There is a washing machine with detergent and a small laundry rack.
It was perfect. Very small thing: a sun umbrella for the outside seating area would be good, as it was even at breakfast time very hot and sunny.

The accommodation was fine and, as far as the apartment itself is concerned, I would have given it 10 stars. However, I reduced the rating to 5 stars solely due to a very unpleasant experience related to check-in and handling of our personal documents.
Before arrival, the host requested that we send photos of all guests' personal documents to a private email address outside the Booking.com platform. Since I was not comfortable sending photos of personal documents and such sensitive data to a private email for reasons of privacy and security, I sent all the information from the documents necessary for the legal registration of guests in the Italian system Alloggiati Web via Booking.com messages.
The host accepted this, with the note that upon our arrival he would have to check the documents in person. This was completely understandable to me and I had no problem with it.
However, when we arrived and handed over our passports for inspection so that the host could verify the previously submitted information and our identity, the host still insisted on taking photos of our passports with his private mobile phone. In this way, photos of documents containing our photos and complete identification data remained on his private device.
This was very uncomfortable for me and because of this I do not feel safe in terms of the protection of my personal data.
In all EU member states this is a violation of the GDPR.
I am particularly concerned that on April 29, 2026, the Italian data protection authority Garante per la protezione dei dati personali published guidelines on the handling of guest identification documents by accommodation facilities. Among other things, they recommend collecting the necessary data from identification documents without taking photos of the documents with mobile devices and sending them via private messages (email, WhatsApp, etc.). It also states that public security regulations do not require the collection and storage of copies of guest identification documents.
I understand and fully accept the host's obligation to verify the guest's identity and report the necessary data via the Alloggiati Web system.
