Everything was perfect! From the moment the privacy gate opened with a mama and baby deer passing by to greet us as we followed the nicely lit road up to the cabin with plenty of parking space to turn the car around with ease. I appreciated the welcome bottle of local wine after my 10 hour drive. Such a nice touch. My son thought the loft was "sick" and we enjoyed the amazing window views feeling as close to the woods as possible with plenty of privacy. Our older dog seemed revived and loved it too. He sat for hours on the porch. Thank you for being pet friendly...a huge plus or we wouldn't have been able to stay as he's family and it was his vacation too. It's a very pet friendly area so we brought him everywhere with us. The cabin is new, clean, cozy, and comfortable. The jacuzzi was perfect to relax in after our hikes to area waterfalls and a visit to town is just 10-15 minutes away. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill cooked a perfect steak. I appreciated having morning coffee/creamer available before my trip to the grocery. We got to see a young bear passing by down at the bottom of the driveway as we sat on the front porch enjoying the sights and sounds. The beds were comfy, the a/c was cold, quiet, and having units in the loft and bedroom balanced it all well. The stars were bright and the mountain view was just right! We loved our getaway and definitely want to visit a little slice of Heaven again! Thank you.
We had rain on and off both days so the well stocked firepit went unused as the wood was too wet. The quick light logs were another nice touch, but also too wet to work since they were outside. Perhaps one could be stored inside under the sink or in a deck box with a lighter.
