The flat location was great as we were attending an event at the Bosnian Cultural Centre, and it was just across the road. Otherwise a straight flat 8-10 min walk to the old town, so not bad at all. The flat was clean and spacious and the owners were very nice and pleasant. They made an effort to provide an electric kettle when requested and were prompt and available when we had an issue with the heating.
I think it would be useful to have kitchen utensils like a spatula, and a small microwave and toaster would be useful. We had some issues with the showers, in that we could not operate the overhead shower head or side sprays, plus the temperature was a bit hard to regulate - which is a shame as the shower photos were a selling point for us, and we had to just use the handheld spray. Perhaps some instructions would be useful. We did not have time to ask the owners as we were at a conference. I’m sure they would’ve tried to help if we did - so it’s just something to note and ask in person if you stay.

Huge apartment. 2 showers and separate toilet. Spotless. Comfy beds and sofa area. Right next to the old town. Fantastic host.

The apartment was in the best location — a short 5-10 minute walk to all the important sites, museums and bazaar and surrounded by great restaurants.
It was only one floor up so very easy with luggage. Inside, it was absolutely beautiful and perfect for friends traveling together or family, with two big bedrooms and a spacious open concept living / dining room. The two smart tvs were easy to use with my Netflix and the couch was comfy for lounging after a full day of sightseeing. The dining table was perfect for setting up a workspace if you’re a digital nomad and the internet was fast and strong.
The hostess, Azra, may be the best host I’ve ever had in my years of traveling and staying in apartments around the world. She is incredibly kind, generous and responsive and I would rent from her any time!
Nothing — everything was perfect. 100 out of 10! I would not hesitate to book this place again, it was worth every penny.
