Spacious room and bathroom, comfy large bed and good aircon (and a fan), which is needed because the room did get extremely hot without it.
The shower is fantastic and has great pressure - perfect for after a day out at the beach.
Standup clothesline in the room to dry clothes (they dry almost instantly in the what which is great).
The place is located just a 3 minute walk from Dikwella beach, atm, shops, and cafes/restaurants.
Theres a little convenience store just out the front of the accom too.
Just a 15 walk to Hiriketiya (although Dikwella beach is much bigger and less crowded and is divine to swim at in the afternoon when the suns a little lower - not much surf here though).
The accommodation is down a long drive away off the main road so it’s nice and quiet away from traffic. You can hear peacock!
The host was lovely and brought us complimentary fresh juices and Sri Lankan snacks.
There’s a very loud German Shepard dog under the accommodation (fully fenced off from you) but is very aggressive and barks whenever you walk up the stairs to go to your room so just be aware you might get a fright. Good guard dog tho 😂

L’allotjament estava nou i molt net. Les instal·lacions eren bones. La família era molt amable. Ens van oferir aloe vera per les cremades. No vam utilitzar la cuina però estava tot net i tenia utensilis. L’ubicació era bona, al costat de la platja. Per arribar a Hiriketiya uns 20 min caminant i a Blue beach 40 min. Amb tuk tuk arribes ràpid a qualsevol lloc. Molta tranquil·litat i silenci. Tot i que el preu és lleugerament més elevat que on haviem estat anteriorment, s’agraeix la neteja conscient. El wifi també funcionava molt bé. Vam poder fer check-in aviat. Aire acondicionat funciona també bé.

This was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka. It was nothing special or aesthetic but all the amenities were top notch. Comfy bed, good hot shower, great wifi and so so clean. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very kind. We loved our stay here.
Only complaint is the listing mentions a washing machine however they do not have one available for use.
