Great host and sweet cottage, but tired decor and an awful road down to the property.

Juliet the owner was very accommodating, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A lovely welcome gift awaited us. The cottage is sweet in a traditional way.

It wasn’t very clean, stained bedding, stains on the walls, cobwebs everywhere. Bathroom was tired. Kitchen cupboard door fell off on the first day. Hard to open windows in what was a very hot house. No back garden. No real privacy as the owner lived in the cottage opposite, even though Juliet was lovely, it does make it a bit awkward. But the biggest issue is the access to the cottage down a road full of potholes that you had to drive at a snails pace so as not to ruin your car.
