Good and clean rooms. Very near to Thamel with local shops and temple nearby. Good for experiencing local life.

A wonderful stay! The location of the guest house is on a small square, away from the madness of Thamel (but within a short walking distance). The room are a good size with reliable hot water and fast Wi-Fi access. The hosts are incredibly kind people, so no wonder there are many people staying here even in low season. All in, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel is hidden in a side alley off of - not a street - but a main avenue! I chose this hotel because I had a 7am tourist bus for Pokhara the very next day and the buses were essentially across the street once you get out of the little alley.
The hotel manager and the cleaning lady were both super nice. It's an old building but everything was clean. It's a budget hotel so be realistic with your expectations.
I liked the firm mattress and firm pillows. The duvet was encased in a (Im guessing new) striped damask cover, it was luxurious and I did not want to get up. 😭 Also it reminded me of home because I use a similar style of duvet cover.
There is a rooftop restaurant with lovely potted plants but I did not eat there. It was nice for people-watching.
There is a temple near the hotel and there were local women in their gorgeous traditional dresses attending some kind of ritual. At some point a group of men sang a capella (it reminded me of an African folk song) and it was magical. The temple bells did not bother me at all.
Finding which sockets that worked to charge my phone was... challenging.

屋上の景色がとても良く、紅茶コーヒーを戴けた
タメル中心部ど真ん中ではないがそのために大きな道に近くタクシーや配車アプリで移動がしやすい
人気のエベレストモモセンターにとても近い。
トイレとシャワーは離れていて使いやすい
たまたまだと思うけど、泊まった部屋のコンセントがうまく通電できなかった。
廊下のコンセントを使わせて貰ったが少し不便だった。親切なスタッフなのでたぶん言えば部屋を買えてくれたと思う。
