This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our room was simply lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, really good coffee and delicious croissants, fruit salads and yoghurts. If you are visiting Poitiers or passing through on your way to other parts of France or Europe it is a complete treat to stay here. We were there for five days and honestly couldn't fault it.

Vicki and Jean Luc are gracious and accommodating hosts. Vicki spent 10 years in the US and speaks flawless English. They have restored their mansion beautifully. The house is immaculate, the utilities are updated sufficient electric outlet for a data center! Breakfast was wonderful with any beverage and croissants yoghurt, cheese plate and delicious sliced fruit. The house has high ceilings, spacious rooms and is appointed with wonderful antiques or reproductions and tasteful wallpaper. It is like traveling back to 1900 —a total experience. We will visit again!

This is a simply delightful place to stay. Clearly, immense effort has gone into creating a place of elegance, style and French sophistication. Hundreds of grace notes abound, little touches of elegance and thought.
Spotlessly clean and with all the amenities you could desire.
The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and helpful, even booking a table in a local restaurant. They took such time and care to make my stay perfect, the only problem being ... I was only there for one night - I would have liked nothing better than to have stayed longer, if my itinerary had allowed.
Go there, stay there, you will be charmed.
