Welcome to Vincent House, a beautifully preserved historic retreat dating to 1838, located just outside Richmond in Midlothian, Virginia. With five bedrooms and plenty of room to gather, the home is designed for families and groups who want more than a place to sleep—they want a memorable home base for their Virginia getaway.
Spend mornings together over coffee, gather around the table for dinner, relax in the hot tub after a day exploring Richmond, or simply spread out and enjoy having room for everyone.

5 bedrooms (including 2 master suites) plus a bonus fold out twin sofa bed in the office!

You will have access to the whole home and all outdoor areas. Outbuildings are not included in this rental.
Other things to note
This is a unique historic property, and it has its quirks! There are stairs throughout the home and small changes in flooring elevation between some of the rooms.
The English basement ceiling height is not conducive to very tall guests - if you are more than about 6'3" you may leave with a bump on your head!
The home is heated and cooled with mini splits which are very efficient and heat and cool the rooms quickly. Some of them are linked together however and must be run in the same mode (meaning you can't have AC in one room and heat in the other). Details for operation of units will be provided on check in.
There is a fenced in back yard with a doggy door. Please ensure gates through the fence (there are 3) are properly latched before leaving your pet unattended as our home is on a fairly busy road.

Beautiful historic house!! Held all of us comfortably. Especially loved sitting around the fire pit and at the ginormous dining table!! My grand daughter enjoyed the hot tub and the whole family spent the evenings putting together puzzles at that table. Highly recommend

Stayed with a group of coaches in town for a soccer tournament. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and unwind after a long day on the fields. Between the hot tub, fire pit, and large downstairs dining area, it was tie perfect place to socialize and relax. Check in was simple and easy and the house was very clean. Hoping to stay there again when in town next year.
