Spacious villa, but let down by ineffective air conditioning and poor customer service.

The villa is spacious and it has a large pool.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was the biggest disappointment of our stay and ultimately had a significant impact on our holiday. Despite running the air conditioning continuously between 16–20°C, the villa never reached a comfortable temperature. The living area remained at around 28°C during the day, while the bedrooms stayed between 26–27°C overnight, making it difficult to relax and sleep comfortably. This was despite keeping the windows, shutters and doors closed throughout. We reported the issue immediately after arriving, but rather than investigating our concerns, we were repeatedly told there was nothing wrong with the system. We found the owners’ responses dismissive and, at times, unnecessarily rude, leaving us feeling that our comfort as guests was not a priority. There were also repeated power cuts every morning at around 6:00 am, with the electricity switching on and off several times. The Wi-Fi signal did not reach the bedrooms, and the beds were not particularly comfortable. Although the pool water looked clean and clear, there was green algae around the edges of the pool, which we noticed on arrival. This gave the impression that it had not been maintained to the standard we expected. Although the villa itself was spacious, we do not feel it represented good value for money given the number of issues we experienced. The ineffective air conditioning had by far the greatest impact on our holiday, and had we known the villa could not be kept comfortably cool during the summer, we would have chosen alternative accommodation.

Très belle Villa pour de belles vacances

Très belle villa moderne, spacieuse et très belle piscine. Un peu à l’écart de la ville, parfait pour la tranquillité et parfait pour sillonner en Algarve. Proches des commerces et des restaurants. Plages à 15 minutes Très bien équipée. Propriétaires facilement joignables en cas de besoin et très sympathiques.
