I was delighted to see this place pop up for one night's availability. I'd checked it out on Booking before but seemed to be booked out constantly. Short notice, booked on the day! I Loved everything about the place, olde English BnB in the Heponstall Valley. Proper British pub underneath to have a drink and meal. Friendly locals!

This isn't on the hotel but the Cross Inn is a good walk up a massive cobble hill (30-40mins from Hebden station) I misjudged the hill entirely with Google saying 30 minutes walk. I had a suitcase!!! Ended up hitching a lift up when Google sent me the wrong way! Not recommended a walk UP there when you're just arriving, get the bus or taxi. It's a lovely walk down though once you have de-luggaged.

It was in a good location for us. Our room was fine.

Unfortunately no food on when we were there. Filthy carpets up the hall. Was looking forward to my croissant for breakfast but it was rather stodgy and not a light flaky texture.
