The house is big and beautiful, gorgeous decor, sun-drenched decks, lovely garden, and amazing views over to Te Mata peak. It's situated down a quiet road in a very upmarket neighbourhood which felt very safe. It's an easy walk to Off The Track bar / restaurant where we all enjoyed delicious steaks! It's also a very short drive into the heart of Havelock North which has beautiful independent shops and eateries.

The water in the house had a slightly metallic taste, so we bought bottled water which wasn't a problem. One of the double beds was a bit on the soft side for one of our group but we were all very comfy otherwise!
