Spacious, warm and comfortable apartment in a quiet location a short 10 minute walk from town. Well maintained and furnished. Very friendly hosts on-hand to deal with any queries. Daily morning bread delivery was appreciated.
The walk back from town was a bit of an uphill slog (or good warm-down) , but the free bus service stopping close to the apartment was regular and reliable, with just a small charge after 7:30pm

Winterfell is a great apartment, really comfortable and spacious with all of the facilities that we needed. In particular, it was really convenient having pastries delivered every day and the apartment is not far from the town to walk, but there is also a bus that stops virtually outside.
Nicola was also an absolutely outstanding host. We stayed at Winterfell in March 2020 and were caught up in some uncertainty around travel arrangements due to Coronavirus and Nicola went totally above and beyond to ensure that we had all of the information we needed and was an enormous help to us. Thanks Nicola!
