Host was very friendly and very assisting and caring.
The rainy weather 😂😂😂 but other than mother nature we really enjoyed our stay. Quiet and really enjoyed the waterfront view.

This wooden log house is equipped with basic everything. Solar power. It's very quite.
When we arrived at this place I was a bit disappointed. The location is not wat we expected. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. You can not have a braai outside due to fires as the house is a Thatch roof. There is actually nothing to do for children. The only reason we left the property one day before our check out date is due to the African Grey parrot on the deck. His name is Polly. This bird is badly neglected. When we arrived their he didn't have any food or clean water in his bowl. The water was green as the dam water! The lady Elna told me that her husband was the only one that can feed the bird and he is only coming late that night. The cage of the bird is so dirty his poop is like mountain stacks. My heart was bleeding for this animal. I tried to feed him. The next morning no sign of the husband to feed the bird. He came late the previous night so he didn't come to feed the bird. Saturday around 11 still no husband to feed the bird. I was trying to give him clean water and some snacks. When we told them we checking out there was still no attempt to feed the bird. As a animal lover this was very disturbing to me! Why do you want the burden of a animal if you can't even feed it! I have taken video's of this neglectence and abuse. So if you decide to go to this place make sure you take some parrot food and snacks with. He is such a loving bird. He doesn't have any toys just that dirty cage, the little blanket on the cage doesn't even cover the roof of the cage.
