The apartment is wonderful! Incredibly spacious, very stylish, perfectly clean, with everything you may need. The host is awesome, they were always in touch and did their best to make my stay comfortable.
The location is also nice. Maboneng is famous to be an art district of Johannesburg, also it as comparatively safe. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a pedestrian street with a big supermarket nearby.
If you are not afarid of noisy street, I strongly recommend this place!
There is only one disadvantage wich has been mentioned here a lot. There are a lot of clubs and cafes in the neighbourhood. So it is very loud outside at night. The host tried to install additional soundproofing, but it did not change the situation significantly. Only earplugs helped me.

The aestetics, size,, quality of furnishings, attention to details that makes one feel at home e.g throws, games, coasters, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, cleaning detergents, extra blanket, heater., even handwash, earbuds and cotton pads
The shower doors do not seal efficiently, and so after your shower you'd need to spend at least 10 minutes mopping up quite alit of water in the bathroom, entrance hall and wring out the soaked bath mat. There was no soap which was probably just a forgotten item. Would've appreciated coverings on the balcony door and bedroom windows for privacy and sun protection in the morning.

The property was very clean,more specious than I had expected and I'm happy about that. Still felt cosy and cute ๐, pitty I didn't stay long to enjoy all the board games already provided ๐.
I have no complains about the property itself, the outside doesn't look promising though. It's just the location that might cause worry a bit for people who don't know.
