This apartment exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and the communication before and throughout our stay was flawless.
The location is outstanding, directly opposite the river, offering beautiful views to wake up to each morning while still being within easy walking distance of Kanazawa’s main historical attractions.
The apartment itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful details everywhere. We loved the artwork in every room, the hidden “secret room,” the excellent selection of teas, and the generous welcome gift of a bottle of sake. The quality of everything really stood out, from the premium electronics to the luxurious amenities, including the wonderful shampoo, soap, and Shu Uemura makeup remover.
My favourite feature was undoubtedly the private sauna and cold bath, which felt absolutely heavenly after long, hot days exploring Kanazawa. The apartment was spotless, exceptionally well organised, and clearly designed with great care. We also appreciated having two separate toilets in addition to the shower room, which made staying as a family much more convenient.
We would love to return in spring or winter to experience the beautiful riverside setting in another season.
The only small suggestion I would make would be to provide a couple more pillows to make the beds even more comfortable.
Overall, an exceptional stay that we would highly recommend.
There is nothing to dislike about this property! All the opposite.

The location was brilliant and the artwork throughout was wonderful! We enjoyed the sauna and cold bath too- perfect after a full day of walking and sightseeing!
It would have been great to have a couch as other than bed there isn’t really anywhere to relax, but the property isn’t big enough for both a couch and a dining table.

Wonderful shower and sauna. Very clean. Thoughtful extra touches.
A dark and narrow, that sometime felt a bit claustrophobic. Good for a couple of nights.
