My stay at Garden of Munduk felt like a warm hug. The hosts were incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and welcoming. They treated me like family, and I genuinely felt at home.
I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View — the room was HUGE! It had so much natural light, and the beautiful colours and design elements complemented the nature outside. It felt like you were one with nature. I loved being able to watch the sunrise and sunset from bed or from the balcony. The bed was also so comfortable and massive — plenty of room to roll around and do your starfish!
The accommodation is within walking distance of a warung, which I personally enjoyed. Being able to walk there and back gave me a chance to get some fresh air, help with digestion after a meal, and simply soak in the beautiful, peaceful vibe of Munduk.
They also have the most beautiful doggies, who are always eager to say hello. They greeted me every morning and whenever I came home at night. It was cool getting to know their different personalities.
The hosts also connected me with a local driver named Hendrick - really cool guy and incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much about Balinese culture through our conversations.
The hosts themselves are very knowledgeable about the area, so if you have any questions, concerns, or are interested in exploring the surrounding area, I highly recommend reaching out to them. They can give you great advice and help you curate a more meaningful experience based on what you’re interested in.
I would absolutely recommend staying here. I’m back home now, but I still think about Munduk and cherish my time at Garden of Munduk. It was such a warm, peaceful, and memorable experience, and I’m very grateful I got to stay here.

We had such a wonderful stay at garden of munduk. I am not gonna lie, i cried a Little bit on the taxi when we left. This place is run by two angels who are so dedicated, generous, kind and who wants to offer the best.
The room is very clean, big , with a terrace which has a wonderful View over nature.
The breakfast is delicious and VERY generous!
If you are a dog lover: this is your place!! They are so Nice and hug friendly!
We will forever cherish the connection and very interesting conversations that we had with our two Hosts. So if you are looping for a place that feels cosy, real and peaceful : dont hesitate.

Les propriétaires sont charmants et très conviviaux- leurs recommandations pour les tours de la région étaient très bien . ( ils sont même retournés avec moi en scooter à une cascade pour récupérer mon sac que j avais oublié) ils font maison d hôte et refuge pour chiens - très gentils et mignons - ils nous ont escortés jusqu au taxi pour nous dire au revoir . La vue des chambres est extraordinaire . La propriétaire fait d excellentes pâtisseries . Petite piscine agréable
Bien que situé loin de la route principale, on entend malheureusement beaucoup les scooters . Des boules quies aident bien
