I stayed at Mayura Ella 360 Nature Retreat and it was honestly one of the most peaceful and refreshing stays I’ve had in Ella.
From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, always making sure everything was comfortable without being intrusive. It felt warm, natural, and very welcoming.
The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed and a private balcony opening up to beautiful mountain and greenery views. Sitting there in the morning with a coffee, surrounded by nature, was one of the best parts of the stay.
Food was also a highlight — fresh, flavorful, and well presented, with a good mix of local and international options. Everything felt carefully prepared, adding a nice touch of quality.
What really makes this place special is the environment. It’s incredibly calm, with almost no vehicle noise, so you can truly relax and disconnect. If you enjoy nature, this place is perfect — early mornings are full of birdlife, including peacocks, hornbills, kingfishers, and many other species. Combined with the 360° mountain views, it creates a very peaceful and unique atmosphere.
It’s also close to Ravana Adventure Park, making it easy to enjoy some adventure during the day and come back to complete calm in the evening.
