A beautiful old-fashioned chateau tucked in amongst vineyards above the medieval city of Carcassonne. An idyllic rural oasis of peace and quiet, yet still only a 15 minute walk down hill to the town. You do have to walk back up the hill, if you want to fully enjoy the local wine 😁. Gilles and Olivier were delightful and charming hosts, who made a great effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We would happily stay again, and it’s a beautiful place to relax in the sun by the pool for open-minded and liberal adults.
The hill back could be a teensy bit shorter on a full stomach, though the peace and tranquility makes it worthwhile.

J’ai passé 2 nuits au Domaine pour un évènement sportif sur Carcassonne. Le lieu est splendide et Olivier est un hôte en or ! Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont complets avec de bons produits. Ma chambre était grande et confortable. Je vous le recommande !
