Nette verzorgde accommodatie. Mooi afgewerkt en alles nieuw.
Receptie/lobby al om 19.00u dicht en afgesloten. Locatie is in Bad Salzig, waar weinig te doen is.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nett war bei großer Hitze der Empfang mit einem Fläschchen eiskaltem Wasser.Die Einrichtung wirkt stilvoll und neu, erst seit Sommer 2026 eröffnet. Alles noch sehr sauber. Schöne kleine Terrasse (allerdings an der Straße), wo wir frühstücken konnten und abends eine Take-away- Pizza verzehren konnten ( ist ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der selben Straße Richtung Bahnhof und ordentlich und preiswert).
Zum Frühstück kein Buffet. Man muss am. Abend zuvor mitteilen, was man möchte. Auswahl ist extrem begrenzt und die Ansage, wieviel Teile man maximal bekommt, wirkt richtig geizig und wenig gastfreundlich - das passt leider gar nicht zum sonstigen sehr zuvorkommenden Stil des Hauses. Ich habe auf Nachfrage ohne Problem sehr freundlich eine zweite Tasse Kaffee bekommen - ohne Aufpreis - aber es wird zuvor nicht kommuniziert, dass man noch manche Bestandteile nachordern kann. Butter war auch eine extrem kleine Portion. Über das Konzept des Frühstücks sollten die Betreiber nochmal nachdenken. Das trübt leider den ansonsten wirklich guten Eindruck.
Für den ziemlich verschlafenen und heruntergekommenen Eindruck von Bad Salzig können die Betreiber nichts. Ihr Hotel ist ein kleiner Lichtblick für den Ort. Gastronomie nahezu null. Wenigstens ein schöner Edeka zu Fuß ca.10 Minuten die Straße ortsauswärts.

Friendly staff, quiet location, clean and spacious facilities and room. Tasty breakfast options each day on outside terrace (e.g. cold meats, cheese, bread, croissant, coffee & juice) which you choose the night before, good value for money. Easy on street parking.
Loved our stay. However, the village of Bad Salzig is not as busy as nearby Boppard, but it’s only a few minutes away by train or car if you need to go out for dinner in evening.
Options for electric bike rental at hotel would be great too as that’s something lacking in Bad Salzig. You currently need to hire and return bikes to Boppard each time.
