The reason for the stay was to visit family who live on the same road so the location was excellent for us. It's very easy to get around Cornwall from there so an excellent base! The cottage is very cute and has everything you could need, plenty of plates, cutlery etc which is quite rare for a holiday cottage! The double bed is extremely comfortable, so much so that we purchased a new mattress when we got home! Even though you're next to the main road, the windows are so good that noise levels were never a problem. We were always able to park in front of the garage which was great. Loads of local info included in the books in the house. Would definitely recommend staying here!
My only note would be the enclosed garden. Whilst it is enclosed and there are plants and bushes in front of the wall, there is a section of wall that has nothing in front of it and the gate is very low. Our small/medium dog could jump over the wall which wasn't ideal. Might be worth noting if you have an escape artist dog. We were given the wrong key code by booking.com so had to ring the host for the new code. This was all sorted out very quickly.
