The location is in a quiet, local French neighborhood, lots of families and some industrial/office buildings and natural trails with wide fields. The unit was nicely furnished and offered a washing machine and dish washer, which we loved. The space was a great size for my family of three, especially the outdoor yard. We were also able to fully enjoy the World Cup games on the large screen tv and relaxed on the comfy sofa. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nicely sized and tastefully decorated.
We didn’t know anything about the area and we struggled to find a grocery store and local places to eat that would be worth the cost. We found an Aldi on Google Maps but it was under construction and we couldn’t buy ingredients for meals. We ended up ordering carry out and eating the last packed foods we had. A quick guide from the host would have helped us.
The upper level bedrooms were a bit too warm during the evenings (around 25 degrees C) and we couldn’t find fans to keep us cool. Also, we didn’t know what the wall units were for or if they offered a fan option. A quick guide for those units would have helped us.
